Finding Ariel

After an unexpected delay, the Ariel Aliyah Tour of America is finally underway! New York, New Jersey and California are all lined up. Due to the delay the presentation of Ariel was left to Kehillot Tehilla: communities in Baltimore, North Miami Beach, Boca Raton and Chicago were exposed to the newest thing in North American aliyah: Ariel.

How does one discuss a multifaceted city, a diverse society and a viable and practical aliyah program –  all in a few minutes? Is it really possible to add a city, no matter what it has to offer, to the North American Aliyah scene?

As people contact me about our program, express interest and come on pilot trips it becomes very clear: Jews making aliyah are looking for Ariel. Not all Jews, not all olim, are looking for Ariel – but many are. There’s no need for spectacular programs, expensive advertising or advanced marketing schemes. Instead, all we have to do is say: this is what we are, this is where we are and this is what we have to offer.

As I travel around the States I have one underlying message which I hope to convey:  “Here we are. Were you looking for us?”

May we merit the successful aliyah of all our Jewish brethren who have yet to join us.

I hope you’re having good luck with the trip, whether it’s revealing Ariel more people, as well as letting others know about the wonders of aliyah in general.

    Shavuah tov.
